Workers are back on the job an oil rig in south Caddo Parish where a man suffered a serious fall.
Inspectors with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration visited the work site Wednesday morning, giving the crew the ok to return to work.
A manager with the company that owns the rig, Sandia Drilling, told KSLA News 12 the company was not cited.
According to Caddo Parish sheriff's deputies who investigated the accident Tuesday morning, Everett Cobbs, 28, was wearing safety gear and a safety harness when he fell between 40 and 90 feet.
They said Cobbs had climbed up on the rig and was on his way back down when he slipped.
He suffered severe injuries--including some to his head--and had to be airlifted to LSU hospital, deputies said.
Cobbs initially was listed in critical condition.  However, his condition was upgraded to serious by Wednesday morning.
