Worker Falls From Cell Tower

MILWAUKEE - A U.S. Cellular worker from Jefferson County fell 70 feet off a cell phone tower Friday afternoon.
The accident happened at Weil and Burleigh in Milwaukee.
The worker was doing maintenance work when somehow the platform gave way and he came crashing down with it.
Paul Blume of TODAY'S TMJ4 spoke to a man who saw the worker fall.
Witness: "We just ran over there and called 911. I thought
with that kind of fall and where he was falling he would be dead."
Blume: "So he's fortunate to be alive?
Witness: "Amen!"
The U.S. Cellular worker was rushed to Froedtert Hospital. He was conscious and alert after the fall.
