Tower Safety & Rescue Courses

Comtrain courses meet the Criteria for Accepted Practices in Safety, Health, and Environmental Training ASSE/ANSI Z490.1, the highest industry standard for training. They also meet the requirements of ASSE/ANSI Z359.2, the minimum requirements for a Comprehensive Managed Fall Protection Program, found in the ASSE/ANSI Z359 Fall Protection Code. The Comtrain Competent Tower Rigging Course addresses the new ASSE/ANSI A10.48-2016 standards.
Comtrain is an authorized training provider for Crown Castle, SBA, American Tower, Black and Veatch, MasTec, Bechtel, CSX Railroad and many other global companies. Comtrain is named as the preferred training provider for the major carriers and infrastructure providers around the globe. Comtrain is recognized as a N.A.T.E. Member Training Company that meets or exceeds the requirements of the N.A.T.E. Tower Climber Fall Protection Training Standard (CTS).

 

The Authorized Climber/Rescuer course is an intensive 2-day program and is constructed to meet employer OSHA requirements & recommended ANSI standards related to work at wireless communications sites. More Info

 

The Competent Climber/Rescuer course is an intensive 3 day course designed for experienced climbers and In-House Instructor candidates. The training meets all current tower safety training standards More Info

 

The Instructor (Train-the-Trainer) course is designed to prepare an In-house instructor to incorporate Comtrain’s “Tower Climbing Safety & Rescue” training to their companies’ safety plans and policies and then deliver the training to their employees. More Info

 

The Tower Safety & Rescue Instructor ReCertification course runs for 2 days where attendees will be recertified at the Competent Climber/Rescuer and Instructor Level. ComTrain requires that all In-House Instructors be Re-Certified every 24 months. More Info

 

Tower Rigging Courses

The Comtrain Competent Tower Rigging Course addresses (OSHA 29 CFR 1926, ASSE/ANSI 10.48-2016, ASME B30.9 and B30.26) rigging operations in which the loads are less than 1000 lbs. More Info

 

This course is designed to prepare a company’s in-house instructor to incorporate Comtrain’s “Competent Rigging” training into their companies’ safety plans and policies and then deliver the training to their emloyees. More Info
