Instructor ReCertification Courses $1295
To keep our In-House Instructors up to date on regulations, standards, equipment and teaching techniques and to renew climbing, rescue or rigging certifications, Comtrain requires all In-House Instructors to be ReCertified every 2 years (24 months).
Comtrain will not process in-house training classes after the certification expires. After 24 months, the In-House Instructor certification will be suspended until the certification is updated and current. Training is not authorized and therefore student certifications cannot be processed if an In-House Instructor’s certification has expired. Training classes must be conducted while an instructor is current for certification to be valid.
If your Instructor Certification has been expired for more than 6 months, you should call the Comtrain office to discuss recertification requirements.

Employers and Instructor candidates should read and understand “The Rules for In-House Instructors”.
THE RULES FOR IN-HOUSE INSTRUCTORS
The 2 year ReCertification will make sure that companies meet ANSI Standards and requirements specified in contracts and site safety manuals. The course will give the Comtrain In-House Instructor a review of the most current standards and regulations so that best practices, updated equipment and proper techniques can be considered for their company’s training program. The courses include classroom study, equipment and procedure evaluation and general round table discussion about the issues in the industry today.
Continued training of employees is the responsibility of the employer. Regulations, standards and available equipment are changing at a rapid pace. In order to remain current and up to date, continued study is required. The Instructor Re-Certification course gives the In-House instructors a forum to gather and exchange new ideas and materials that can enhance their training programs.
Watch our Class Schedule for course dates.
