Bloodborne Pathogens Training – $25

You’ll learn about HIV, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, and the diseases they cause. We’ll cover how BBPs are transmitted, so you can recognize potential hazards.
We’ll talk about Exposure Control Programs, universal precautions and methods for reducing your risk of exposure. You’ll learn about tools like signs, labels, and color-coding to warn you about bio-hazards.
Finally, you’ll learn the procedures to follow after an exposure incident.
Course Duration: .5 Hours
The course is followed by a computer based exam. Students must pass with a 75% or better and will have limited chances to pass the exam. If a students fails the course for any reason, they will need to pay for the course again. Upon passing the exam the student will receive a certificate of completion. This certification is valid for 12 months.
