EM 385-1-1 USACE – 16 Hours – $175

EM 385-1-1 is the Engineer’s Manual released by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. The manual outlines the health and safety standards you must follow. To help you understand these standards, we offer a 16-Hour EM 385 Training course.
Our 16-Hour EM 385-1-1 Training course provides you with an orientation to the safety standards you need to follow. You’ll learn:
- How to identify the Site Health and Safety Officers (SSHOs)
- The proper ways to handle, store, and dispose of potentially hazardous materials
- How to choose the right equipment to keep yourself safe from falls
- Best practices for working safely in confined spaces
You will also understand what to do to stay safe during excavations and trenching.
Course Duration: 16 Hours
The course is followed by a computer based exam. Students must pass with a 75% or better and will have limited chances to pass the exam. If a students fails the course for any reason, they will need to pay for the course again. Upon passing the exam the student will receive a certificate of completion. This certification is valid for 12 months.
