Our comprehensive online 40-Hour HAZWOPER course reviews various topics related to Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER), including site characterization, hazardous chemicals, radiation hazards, and personal protective equipment (PPE), and decontamination methods.

Additionally, this course teaches you best practices for safely handling and responding to hazardous waste emergencies. Plus, you’ll increase your knowledge about OSHA’s 29 CFR 1910.120(e)(3) standards.

The training also includes a module that reviews the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals (GHS) so that you’re compliant with OSHA’s 2013 updates to the Hazardous Communication Standard.

Course Duration: 40 Hours

The course is followed by a computer based exam. Students must pass with a 75% or better and will have limited chances to pass the exam. If a students fails the course for any reason, they will need to pay for the course again. Upon passing the exam the student will receive a certificate of completion.
