Crane Spotter & Signal Person – $75
The Comtrain Crane Spotter & Signal Person course will give each student the basic understanding of operating and signaling for lifting operations. This course covers subjects such as Standards, Safety, and Hand Signals. The course is followed by a computer based exam. Students must pass with a 75% or better and will only have one chance to pass the exam. If a students fails the course for any reason, they will need to pay for the course again. This Certification is valid for 24 months. A certificate of completion will be issued upon successful completion of the computer based testing. Students are then required to print the Comtrain field checklist and a Competent person must evaluate the practical skills of the Crane Spotter & Signal Person. Once complete the competent individual must sign the field checklist and the certification.
